WALE – CENTER OF ATTENTION

Last night Wale was in the Land of Lincoln alongside J. Cole, N.E.R.D., and Jay-Z for the Blueprint 3 College Tour. I had a chance to go but alas that trip down to Champaign is a a bitch giving birth to pit bull puppies. Luckily “Center Of Attention“, a bonus track from Attention Deficit, just leaked to hold you down. It’s crazy, I’ve heard so much backlash surrounding Wale from “hip-hop heads” recently that I don’t quite understand. I offer one bit of advice to those questioning the rise of one Wale Folarin: take all his media features away and supplant them with more Wacka Flocka Flame songs. I bet you wouldn’t be happy. Change doesn’t happen overnight people, it’s gradual and we should take Wale’s emergence as a sign that people want more in life than to get Wasted! Partake!

BLIND I SAYS GO! AUGUST 2009

What’s good Blind I faithful?! This past month has been dope experience after dope experience for me, and it’s totally reflected in the way this month’s Blind I Says GO! came out.
