THE PRIMERIDIAN- DA CRACK-A-DAWN MIXTAPE

The homies Simeon Viltz and Race, together known as The Primeridian, have hooked up with The Hip-Hop Project, RubyHornet, Jugrnaut, All Natural Inc, and DJ Booth to bring fans their latest mixtape, Da Crack-A-Dawn.

Mixed by Cosm Roks, the project features a whopping 27 fresh cuts (along with one bonus track) from the Windy City twosome who brought us “Drop the Needle,” (produced by Tye Hill) “Chitown’s Finest,” (featuring Neak, Slot-A, Rashid Hadee who also produced it) and recently “Go ILL”(featuring Add-2, Ynot the best prod. by Twilite Tone!)

VIDEO: SIR MICHAEL ROCKS – FOREIGN FEATURES (DIRECTED BY MIKE CARSON)

Illroots‘ Mike Carson commanded directorial duties and Mike Waxx got behind the camera for this new joint from Sir Michael Rocks of The Cool Kids entitled “Foreign Features“, produced by Tye Hill from The Productionix. The joint itself is superb, and Mikey rocks over it with ease. Carson does his thing from a directorial angle too, quite simple yet very effective. Kudos, sirs.

SIR MICHAEL OF THE ROCKS (MIKEY ROCKS OF THE COOL KIDS) – BATPHONE + THE DEAL WENT SOUR

While die-hard Cool Kids fans wait in anticipation of When Fish Ride Bicycles, Mikey Rocks, now known as Sir Michael of the Rocks has been keeping busy dropping flows over dope production from Tye Hill of Produktionix and Tall Black Guy to name a few. He dropped a few new joints off over Andrew’s way and I deemed them worthy to grace the pages of Blind I as well…BatPhone x The Deal Went Sour. I’m a fan of hearing MCs over alternative styled joints than we’re used to, so partake and see if you share in my sentiment.
