Let’s see… We started out w/ str8 up heat to kick start it all, then Dilla, then Beats, then Love , last month was Stereolab & this month is no surprise to the faithfuls that respecognize that P up there on the cover. For those not in the know… That “P” is for Portishead. Geoff Barrow, Beth Gibbons, and Adrian Utley gave us a unique new sound back in 1994 & since then have only released 3 albums with their last one being in 2008. Like Sade, D’Angelo & Dr.Dre (Detox anyone?), Portishead is one of those groups that doesn’t need to come out every month with a new record because their music & legacy alone stand the test of time. I ain’t gonna lie tho… I wish they wouldn’t take so damn long in between albums &  or tour if they were, but I guess we gotta take what we can get, till we get what we want. I for one couldn’t wait so I decided to make this month all about the P. It is filled to the brim of rarities, remixes, covers, tributes, unreleased & of course my faves from the albums they DID release. A definite MUST HAVE for any true P fan or Blind I faithful for that matter. & As always… thank you for your continuous support in making these NKD‘s a part of your life. I do it for you!
