Our good friends and talented artists The Paxtons just dropped their new project Avenue A, which is their most diverse album to date. Last year, they released the critically acclaimed Manhattan Project, which gave music aficionados a proper introduction to their work. This album is much more personal than the last, giving fans a glimpse into Chris and Dave as individuals and as a collective. The Brooklyn-based group worked with GLC, Sincere DaVinci, Puma, Hayling and Urban Legendz for rap collaborations and production on Avenue A. This is a nice little gem to add to your music catalog for the fall to zone out to. Hit the skip for the tracklist and their new video for the single “Five Dollars.”

I assume they entitled the project as such because of their recent re-location to Manhattan, and I can ALSO assume the move was a successful one, because the rhymes & music are dope! On Friday, March 19th we invade Austin, TX during SXSW Music Week to rock Soho Lounge with over 28 acts of freshness! Who’s featured you ask? We’re talking Theo Martins, Vandalyzm, Classy Hand Favours, TiRon, Project Mayhem, The Paxtons, KJ, Mic Terror, Black Spade, Sonnymoon, Brittany Street, Bad Rabbits, Phil Adé, Xavier Pryce, Kinky Notti, Tabi Bonney, Brittany Bosco, Proh Mic, YP, Big Homie Doe, Rockwell Knuckles, House Shoes, BBU, Coultrain, L.e. for the Uncool, Pugs Atomz, Cubic Zirconia, Ro Spit, and some special surprises!
