It’s that time of the year again folks. The CMJ music festival is happening in exactly two weeks in NYC at FREECANDY.  It’s our third show. We’ve got some Blind I faves on the bill as well as some emerging talent definitely worth checking out.Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote, Suzi Analogue, Sonnymoon, Tiombe Lockhart, B. Lewis and P.U.D.G.E.

SONNYMOON x B.LEWIS LIVE @ THE PAGODA TONIGHT

A couple months ago Blind I was in the house to witness the best performance from our good friends Dane & Anna (Sonnymoon) we had seen to that date. We know they will out do that tonight. There are no words to truly describe being able to witness the growth of emerging artists in the game let alone ones you become good friends with. Sonnymoon continues to impress crowds every where they play & San Jose get’s dumb fanboy on em when they come into town. Throw in the city’s own B.Lewis who also has been shaking and moving like no other as well. The young producer’s signature sound is reaching a multitude of fans each day & the sky is the limit for him. Tonight we get to see both in action once again @ the famous LIVE @ PAGODA music series. UnGrammar for the win 1nce again!

SONNYMOON-HOUSTONATLANTAVEGAS (WAAJEED REMIX)

When Sonnymoon dropped Golden Age, we were all blown away by their rendition of Drake’s “HoustonAtlantaVegas.”  Blind I comrade Waajeed was just as impressed by the duo and inspired to do this remix of the track we all love so much. Waajeed’s version is and upbeat and it gives the song a party vibe.  Sonnymoon is currently touring and I got a chance to catch up with them at Santos Party House in NYC. They performed some music from their new album and trust me when I say their fans definitely have a lot to look forward to. Hopefully in the future Waajeed and Sonnymoon will get in the studio together.
