LAZER SWORD – BATMAN (UPCOMING)
Word on the street is that the almighty Lazer Sword are setting things in motion to release a full LP before the end of the year. The first single, Batman, featuring remixes by Nguzunguzu and Lando Kal will be backed with I’m Gone featuring Bay Area legend Turf Talk with remixes by Rustie and Low Limit. The single will be available in both digital and vinyl this October from Innovative Leisure. Also, I must mention the cover art done by an excellent artist that goes by Kilian Eng.

This slipped right under my radar! On November 28th, BBC Radio 1 opened the decks for one of Blind I’s favorite producers – Mr. Hudson Mohawke – to do his thing and put together a superb, stellar, fantastic Essential Mix. This thing is CRAZY man, I’m talking 57 tracks of complete BANGERS! I’ve included a MP3 download along with the stream so you can check it out however you please, but whatever you do, indulge!

Welcome back to another wicked installment of EclectiCuts! What really gets me excited about making this particular Blind-I compilation is the fact that you viewers look forward to it! The Blind-I readers are one of the most diverse group of listeners out in the blog-o-sphere and I’m glad I don’t need to hold back from unloading these crazy beats on you all! With that said this month’s collection is a bit heavier than usual. I wanted to tone down the jazzy stuff and get into some shit that will really rock your speakers.
I’ve decided to introduce the sounds of Dubstep to you regulars. Maybe some of you out there are hip to this rapidly emerging sound, or maybe you’re wondering WTF is this dude talking about. Well consider this a sample of what’s to come with EclectiCuts. In EC7 I have world class beat makers from all over London and the U.S. bringing you the straight gully . We don’t play this time. It’s Spring baby! So get your low ends ready cause this isn’t your pappy’s bass music! And I’ve included some non-Dubstep joints just to mix it up as well.
