I’ll say this: for having made the transition from spoken word/poetry to rap/hip-hop, this guy Real T@lk is proficient and lyrically amazing. For any music listener out there who seeks lyrical content that stimulates the mental, touches on situations and ideals that define the conundrums we face on a daily basis, Real T@lk + Authentik Made’s “The Sitcom LP” was made with you in mind. Authentik Made did all the production & singing, and Real T@lk laid the verbals. It all blends quite well for this new project, so check out the Bandcamp stream below and then indulge!

REAL T@LK – THE BANDWAGON

Real T@lk played me “The Bandwagon” (produced by Authentik Made) when I was in the lab with him a few weeks ago, and it was met with the gas face and the thumbs up from yours truly. I had no idea it would be out so soon, but here it is for your listening pleasure. Real T@lk is doing some very dope things. If you haven’t checked out his Mo’ Better Mixtape, you need to do that first and get familiar. REAL T@LK – THE MO’ BETTER MIXTAPE

I had the pleasure of running into Real T@lk last week at a Heineken event – shouts to Howard and C. Wade for the hook up – and he hipped me to his movement and his new mixtape where he uses samples and snippets from Spike Lee’s Mo’ Better Blues film, which happens to be one of my favorites! So I went home and got a chance to check out the project and was pretty impressed. Check out “Sleepwalking“, produced by and featuring Chris Mathien, and then partake!
