Late last year Blind I put action behind a dream which was to do an album with a handful of artists that we love. This was even before we went out to SXSW & did our Quality showcase. Our motto has always been “Quality Over Quantity,” & we take that very seriously around these parts. You can tell from each staff member’s individual comps to the posts we make. You can go to many sites & see the same thing. You come here & see something different. You have respecognized this since we stepped onto the scene 4 years ago and have become our beloved “faithful.” We appreciate you all. In honor of you all & for those who don’t know about the Blind I movement, we offer you Quality>Quantity The Album. VIDEO: SONNYMOON @ BLINDIFORTHEKIDS’ QUALITY! SXSW

Ahhh yes. My friend Amelia over at Putmeonit attended our Quality! showcase at SXSW and she got this incredible footage of Sonnymoon. They were the last to perform and possibly the most anticipated act on our roster. Those that had been bumping their debut EP, Golden Age, were reciting the lyrics to “Gills and Wings” and “Nursery Boys.” Everyone else left our show intrigued. Needless to say, Sonnymoon is on the verge of their big break and this video sums up all the reasons why in 8 minutes. We were all onstage but shouts to Meezy for the ill cameo. Love it.
