“The Carlton” is an ode to the King of All ’90s Sitcom Nerds, Carlton Banks, and the sounds that he would likely be grooving to if were still around in 2010.

I’d heard about him last year smashing shows down in the Atlanta area, I’d checked out his joint Box Chevy, I knew he’d been signed for a short stint on Columbia, so I gave him a shot and he didn’t disappoint. I even featured one of my favorite joints off his recent mixtape, “Trunk Muzik“, on the latest installation of Blind I Says GO! Whattup Blind I faithful! I truly apologize for not droppin this on the 15th (the day NKD’s are scheduled to drop) but the truth of the matter is that (in the words of my momz) ‘I am burning the candle @ both ends’ by doing ’4 much’ these daze! But ya know what I say… I’ll rest when I’m dead. So with that being said, let’s get to it! I had 5 songs that I had previously selected a month ago for this months edition. The rest was compiled all damn day today.
