Blind I faithful, I almost didn’t do it. I looked at the new music that the world had to offer, at our submissions, and I just didn’t feel like what was presented was strong enough to make it to GO! You know me, them ordinary things don’t move me. I need some shit straight out the movies, word to Mighty Mos. So, being the critical mind that I am, I scoured my music database for what felt right, refreshing, and in taste with my current mood of happiness, hard work, and the chase of perfection. I’ve been telling you about BCB for a minute now. I’ve been telling you about all things Robin Hannibal come to think of it. The Copenhagen Kang always & I mean ALWAYS seems to create the perfect groove. BCB for those that do not know are comprised of Robin Hannibal of Quadron, Ronnie Vindahl, Thomas Bisballe, and David Cytryn; with additional vocal contributions from Coco O of Quadron and Liv Lykke. The group was formed due to their common “love of hip hop, soul and funk,” meeting once a week to share everyone’s music, while helping each other with pointers. The casual meetings amongst friends evolved into the loose collective now known as Boom Clap Bachelors, showing their various influences from the likes of D’Angelo, J Dilla, SA-RA, Erykah Badu, as well as 70s and 80s Danish music.

Today, enjoy the stream to the entire EP. The EP is now available via iTunes and features a bonus track that is not included in the SoundCloud stream.

Aight. Normally I would adhere to our ‘late pass’ rule (considering it came out last year & all), but trill saliva is I don’t even think y’all are even up on game & that’s just being trill. A handful of the faithfuls know whats up. Most of you are my friends & for those that are not usually email or twit or facebook or in one way or another let it be known that they respecognize the gangsta knowledge n what have you. That being said… let me put y’all on to something you are all sorta kinda on yet but don’t know it yet. Robin Hannibal is Bobby. Like I said b4, this came out last year but I literally have played it every single day of my life since I bought it. Robin is mad lowkey. You know him for Quadron, some from Owusu &…, a few from Boom Clap or Parallel but do you know Bobby? I sure as hell do. Robin is mos def a favorite of mine & has been for some time now. I’m gonna play u a few of my favorite joints & then give you the link to go cop the goods your damn self like I did & then do yourself a favor & familiarize yourself with the fresh… cuz I’m currently working on a No Knows Hannibal slated for release this year along with the help of Mr.Hannibal himself.
