I really outdid myself with this one. This…..right here….is my…..most fluid, themed, consistent BISG compilation yet! August’s edition of Blind I Says GO! is giving love to the joints you love but forget to revisit….the Yin to the typical Yang of selections that jump out at us on out favorite records….yes that’s right, the INTERLUDE! When I came up with this concept I had a few special ones in mind that I’d always loved, but I had no idea I’d be able to pick 40 tracks that combined into an hour-long mindgasm of sonic delicacy. Slow down homie. It’s not an Outkast joint per say, but we all know any Big Boi x Dre 3K song is as good as gold. This track was SUPPOSED to be on Big Boi‘s new album ‘The Son Of Chico Dusty‘, but Jive was supposedly on the bullsh*t and wouldn’t let Andre 3000 on the album. Trés lame. God bless the internet however, and the good folks at Rap Radar for the leak. Great music! Indulge!

Yeah, it’s that serious. A few days ago, I took my quest to find the elusive All About The Bad Boys track to Twitter in efforts to try and find it for my catalogue and the world’s pleasure. I was directed to Mr. Mike Love, who was one-half of the Bad Boys on WGCI during their heyday,and he threw me the oop of all oops with the record. I, being the gentleman that I am, threw it to my homie Andrew over at FSD and let him run wild with it. A few days later, Mike hits me with THIS gem. Ridiculous collection of freestyles recorded on the radio show from artists like Common, Crucial Conflict, Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz, Fat Joe & Big Pun, Flipmode Squad, Twista, Juvenile, Brand Nubian, Outkast, Juice, Profound, Q-Tip, Da Brat, Shyne, 50 Cent, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and the list goes on. Basically it’s classic material and a must to have on your computer if you love hip-hop music in any sense. I should really start charging for connectin the dots like this, I’m a motherfuckin music blog wordsmith motherfucking lyrical genius!
