BLIND I SAYS GO! JUNE 2011

Blind I faithful, I almost didn’t do it. I looked at the new music that the world had to offer, at our submissions, and I just didn’t feel like what was presented was strong enough to make it to GO! You know me, them ordinary things don’t move me. I need some shit straight out the movies, word to Mighty Mos. So, being the critical mind that I am, I scoured my music database for what felt right, refreshing, and in taste with my current mood of happiness, hard work, and the chase of perfection. If you concentrate on the black dot in the center of the picture, you can pull your face in and out, and see an optical illusion! Trippy right? Well not as trippy as knowing you been tossing around these music comps for almost three years. It was hard to try and celebrate something I just enjoy doing. Volume 30 will mean as much to me as volume 40, 50, 100… It’s all about sharing music. Thanks for sticking with me and the Blind I gang on our crazy ride. It gets better still. NOSAJ THING VS. AALTO

Show of “Nosaj Thing & Aalto” at Lunchmeat Festival 2010 hold in MeetFactory = the best club and art space in Prague / Czech republic.

I remember when our very own Mark PLSTK showed me Romain Tardy alias Aalto & I flipped my lid. I then showed $ & he too flipped his lid, then we Blind I’ed that batch & y’all flipped your lid. Case n point… this is some more head flippage. Aalto spent 14 days before the performance in the first Lunchmeat’s art residency. He prepared the stage design and unique visual show for Nosaj Thing. Small team of carpenters helped him to construct the wooden base, which was coveder by more than 500 polystyrene triangles. I don’t know how far we reach outside of the US but if you are in the hood… then hit the jump to go to the next one!

Since then, Ungrammar has stayed the course with the mission of what The Changing Same is all about – presenting emerging artists that are at the forefront in the future realm of Soul, Electronica, Latin and post Hip Hop sounds – or can we say new sh!t!
