I’m so proud of my homies. When creative people put their thoughts into actions the world rejoices and enjoys! My San Jose chaps R-Cade and SmoovGroovs just finished crafting their debut masterpiece Space Cakes and it is quite the party rocker! Funk is alive and well and these boys are showing us that for sure. Using the technology of today with the analog stylings of the keys, the blending of boogie and beats was natural. Turntablist/Musician/Producer, Teeko of Bay Area based dj collective 4oneFunk and production/performance group F.A.M.E. (Fresh Analog Music Experience), performing an original piece put together only 2 days before this showcase at the Colorado DMC regional finals on May 1st, 2010. This set features Colorado’s own Dj Vajra! This version of “Sunbeam’s Theme” is the instrumental version, as it now features lyrics and turntable vocoder by Max Kane (F.A.M.E.)
