DANDIGGITY PRESENTS: ECLECTICUTS VOL.27

Front, back, side to side 2010 has been quite the ride (rhyme). The first year of the new decade wasn’t the smoothest, but I think it was great for new beginnings. With music advancing (and sometimes echoing back to the past) at a rapid pace it’s good to remind ourselves that even with the abundance of tunes out there always concentrate on the timeless and memorable. Thanks for sticking with me these last few years, and hopefully in the future to come. Props always to my boy Noah for the covers and of course Mark Sebastian for the use of his photos for my 2010 comps. Now get to downloading, vibing out, and lets get it in 2011! METRONOMY REMIXES

Metronomy is the schitt. I love these dudes and I’ve been vibing to alot of their shit recently, as evidenced by the inclusion of some of their tracks on the latest Blind I Says GO! compilation. Along with their releases, Pip Paine (2006) & Nights Out (2008), they’re a pretty prolific remixing entity, flipping joints from Sebastien Tellier’s “La Ritournelle” to Gorillaz’ “El Mañana”. Lucky for you the kid got a hold of damn near all of em! Props to Tommy Gunn. As a bonus I’ve thrown in the Metronomy remix of Lykke Li’s “I’m Good I’m Gone”. Partake!

BRAINSTORM REMIXES VOL. 1

What’s up Blind I faithful? I wanted to drop a special project on you guys that I’ve been working on for the past couple of days for your enjoyment. I looked up one day at my iTunes and realized that alot of my favorite joints were remixes I’d compiled in my years of digging, so logically I decided to make up a dope mix of some of the iller tracks. Little did I know how many dope remixes there were, so I’ve decided to make this a Volume 1 of however many more to come. This one is pretty eclectic, but all of the tracks go pretty hard. I tried to eliminate any of the typical remixes that I feel everyone probably already has, and focus on the more obscure, banging ass joints that you know we at Blind I like to bring.
