My bad. I should have made a post bout my doode Frank Ocean here a minute ago. I been busy rippin n runnin’ round these parts like no other from performing, in the lab & preparing for the birth of my daughter (2 days away today) so there’s a few things that I been bumpin the schitt out of & haven’t told y’all. This schitt is my schitt right here tho. & Oddly enough (no pun intended) from the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All crew. Night & day from some Tyler The Creator & Earl Swaetshirt tho.  A couple of homies & myself been on a “ULTRA” ‘nostalgic’ tip & so should you. $ dropped him in the latest GO! but in case you want MO! & No knows u do… well then… GET ON WITH THE GIT! & again… my bad… but also… you’re welcome.

YAY OR NAY: MILO HIROSHIMA – IT’S BEEN WRITTEN…

This hit my inbox yesterday and I was impressed by the candidness of the message included. Milo Hiroshima, a west-coast MC with a pretty ill & unique flow in my opinion, created his ‘It’s Been Written‘ mix tape in a lo-fi format intentionally…and although my first instinct was “yeah right”, I ventured to his Bandcamp and checked out the tracks and was thoroughly surprised. The lyrical detail is dope yet not overwhelming, and with production from devonwho, Flying Lotus, J. Dilla, Left Brain, MadLib, Metal Fingers (aka DOOM), Polow Da Don, and Tyler the Creator, the beats match perfectly. All in all, this is a new guy who just might creep his way into your playlists on some smooth alt-hip-hop shit. Partake and let us know after the jump, YAY or NAY?
