Brittany Boco’s sound has transformed. When she released the Spectrum EP years ago, her sound was very electronic and it reminded me of the music the J*DaVeY movement was cranking out. It wasn’t until Bosco put out the Pacer EP that I started to see her as an alternative singer; a lane that suits her perfectly. The chillwave production from DogBite of Washed Out and her airy vocals on songs like “Yeah-Yay” made me think here we go this is her lane! A little known fact about the singer is that she’s classically trained and that’s a quality that shines through at times on “Joker,” which is the first single from her upcoming project Let Go of Me (3/6/12). Bosco definitely has the range and project by project you can really see her streamline her gift.
