MELO-X-MORE MERCH EP

Mel0-X is definitely a one man show. He’s a DJ, emcee and producer and he’s worked with some heavyweights. The first time we posted any music from Melo-X was  years ago when he appeared on a mixtape with Theophilus London, Jade, Mickey Factz, Jesse Boykins III and others. Now, on his sophomore mixtape, More Merch, he has songs with the artists mentioned above and remixes of Kendrick Lamar, Quadron and Goapele. Can you believe the seasons have changed already? This year is moving at the speed of light. I’m particularly proud of the Blind I team for the way we continue to progress as a unit and a movement. I decided to do a RDV this month because as summer unwinds and the temperature starts to drop, people gravitate toward their special someone. In his own words: In Honor of Andre 3000 & The Isley Brothers, I decided to finally produce & record the song I’ve been using to start my live set for the past year. It also marks the end of a great summer filled with love & new experiences. Definitely a thank you to all my believers and supporters. Hope you find your Prototype in 2010. THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE REVEALS NEW COVER AND TRACKLISTING

Yeah, I’m totally geekin’ off this news. Since we are diehard Foreign Exchange fans here at the Blind-I offices, this is BIG news. The subtlety of the cover suggest things are going to be all right after the band told us to “leave it all behind…”. Autumn brings newness and clarity, and anything Phonte and Nicolay has for us will be taken up with open arms.
