ARTIST SPOTLIGHT:BRITTANY BOSCO

Ready For The World: Brittany Bosco

Brittany Bosco is a dynamic artist. Musically, she’s a chameleon that radiates colors, moods and energy with every note. Her vocal range is as tremendous as her production. She’s a grounded, southern belle, cultivating a sound that’s two steps ahead of other singers. Her EPs, City of Nowhere and Spectrum, reached thousands of ears and cooked up an appetite for her official debut, Black.

This winter, Bosco will deliver a gem for audiophiles, full of live instrumentation, invigorating vocals and unique overtures.  The Savannah native recently did a series of shows in New York City that roused the underground scene and got people talking. We have been waiting for Brittany’s defining moment, which is undoubtedly approaching.

JAY-Z ON REAL TIME W/ BILL MAHER

I’ve been meaning to post Jay-Z’s recent Bill Maher interview for quite some time, but I’ve been busy so please grant me a late pass. This past week The Blueprint 3 flooded the net and many of us got a little preview. Jay-Z is always a man of few words, but in this interview he candidly discusses everything from the new album, his position in hip-hop today and his perspective on his older material. Bill Maher is always hilarious and between the two of them the dry humor in this is great.

BLIND I FEATURE-THE LATIN PROJECT

When The Latin Project arrived in our inbox, being the curious musical purveyors we pride ourselves to be, we checked it out. While playing La Musica De La Noche, we heard a unique synergy of Bossa Nova, Afrobeat, Reggaeton, Down-Tempo and Lounge.  Nearly six years after releasing their Grammy-nominated debut, Nueva Musica, The Latin Project is back with a diverse sophomore set. The album features rising talents like Debi Nova (who appears on Sa-Ra’s Nuclear Evolution) and eclectic remixes of jazzier vets like Bebel Gilberto. Blind I chatted with Jez Colin to get some background on the group and explore the elements of the Latin Electronica genre.

THE CLIPSE-INTERVIEW
