MACHINEDRUM – LET IT (FEATURING MELO X)

I present a gem of a release by MachineDrum featuring Melo X entitled Let It. Neck breaking production on the single is notable on all tunes including the remixes by heavy hitters Edit and Lazer Sword. The big boom blap slap is well accompanied by Melo X‘s lyrical delivery. The extra track, Flud, is actually my fave from the release. It’s slow and moody vibe will have you wishing there were more than two minutes in the tune. Word on the street is that “copies have landed” of the EP, but since the official release isn’t until 11/2/10 this single will have to do for now.

LAZER SWORD – BATMAN

This is the first single, Batman, from the Lazer Sword‘s highly anticipated album. Released via Fader, the tune is a myriad of clicks, bleeps, samples, and progressive basslines. Peep the tune below and look out for the full release of the album very soon.

LAZER SWORD – BATMAN (UPCOMING)

Word on the street is that the almighty Lazer Sword are setting things in motion to release a full LP before the end of the year. The first single, Batman, featuring remixes by Nguzunguzu and Lando Kal will be backed with I’m Gone featuring Bay Area legend Turf Talk with remixes by Rustie and Low Limit. The single will be available in both digital and vinyl this October from Innovative Leisure. Also, I must mention the cover art done by an excellent artist that goes by Kilian Eng.
