West Coast producer Freddie Joachim always delivers the ill instrumentals. If you’re new to him, check out his website for previous EPs (Getaway is one of my faves). His music is extremely mellow and soothing; the perfect  audible reflection Cali. I spotted “Waves” over at Moovmnt and had to post it. Perfect summer song.

DJ MENSA – SEASONS CHANGE

New seasons are coming this way here in Cali going from mostly sunny to cold & sunny …that was a joke, Voila!  I guess I can’t complain, the east coast is much colder.  Anyway I ran across this fresh lil mix from our dude out of Toronto DJ Mensa called seasons change. Hello Blind I. Me again. Before life became ultra busy, I used to write lots of poems. I have books full. To me, these mixes are kind of like musical poems. They’re a glimpse into my head. This edition is full of drums, drums and more DRUMS (Chocolate Star) and SYNTHESIZERS (Dam Funk). Both equally rendezvous-like if you tap your imagination. Round of applause to NO for the artwork. He and $ are amazing at what they do. Enough rambling.
