PETER HADAR & INDIE MOVIE: AMUSEMENT PARK 2
Not only is Peter Hadar a dear friend to Blind I, but he’s also an incredible performer! He and his band Indie Movie will be performing at Dominion in New York City Thursday October 11. The event, Amusement Park 2 will include Rich P, Vinnie Cash, Chuck Bars, Afaliah, Khayatollah and DJ Sharri. It will definitely be an evening of eclectic sounds and plus it’s only $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Tickets can be purchased here. Blind I will be in the building. See you there!
EVENT: BODY ROCK VOLUME 1 F/ RICH MEDINA (NYC)
NEW YORK! Next Saturday, I’m co-hosting a dance party at Southpaw in Brooklyn. The legendary DJ Rich Medina will be spinning classic jams the entire night and it’s going to be a good time. EVENT: BRING IT BACK TOUR NYC
The Bring It Back Tour will be hosting their regional competition in New York City’s Highline Ballroom tomorrow night. The event is free and open to the public. Established emcees like Opio (Hieroglyphics), One Be Lo (Binary Star), and Prince Po (Organized Konfusion),will be judging local rappers and rising talent for the chance to nab the title of GOLD MVP and win $1000.
Blind I will be in the building. Spread the word! The evening will include a panel discussion and support the fundamentals of hip hop: Turntablism, graffiti, freestyle battling and more. For more background on the Bring It Back movement, check out Bring It Back Tour.com.
OKAYPLAYER CONCERT-NEW YORK CITY
Okayplayer is hosting their annual Holiday Jammy Tuesday December 15th at BB Kings in Time Square. The show will feature The Roots and special guests, a special OkayAFrica set with Bajah + the Dry Eye Crew, plus DJ Brainchild on the 1s and 2s.
You can never go wrong with seeing The Roots for free!
