I have really been feeling this cat Kendrick Lamar lately. This was a response to Dr.Dre calling out the West Coast artists , saying that he can’t do this West Coast comeback alone, saying that he was excited to work with the new -up and coming artists such as, Kendrick Lamar. They must have hooked up cuz the brotha lost his mind on this one!

All jokes aside, St. Ides put together a super thorough promotional campaign back in the day with Dr. Dre to push their malt liquor sales to the then-blossoming hip-hop crowd. Looking back on it philosophically, it was a total brainwashing tool to get inner-city youth to drink and drink heavy, but at least some good ass music came out of it, right? I suppose we’ll all have our own opinions on that, but while you think about it, check out Eric B. & Rakim on Real Men Drink (lol @ that song title, there’s many more like it on this comp) and indulge in that O.E.! Lol!

Here’s a rather odd partnership: legendary rapper and producer Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records, have teamed up with cable, line conditioner, and accessory powerhouse Monster to market a pair of high-end, high-priced headphones. The so-called “Beats by Dr. Dre” were supposedly tuned by the former N.W.A. member and Death Row founder himself (along with a little help from ‘Head Monster‘ Noel Lee), and boast “rich, deep bass” which promises to keep your head ringin’. Scheduled to ship this spring, these over-the-head cans will sport a $400 price tag — you know, just so you can be sure that this is in fact a Monster product.

Sheeit does it come with a Insta-Platinum switch or Hit-Maker button also?
