Chip is one of my favorite new rappers and he gives a pretty dope show, so I co-sign this completely. Shouts to Mikewaxx, Shine, and Modi for putting this together…wish I could make it out there but the Chi’s about to get crazy so I’ve got some planning to do for Lollapalooza weekend….NYC! Do it! VIC MENSA – STRAIGHT UP
Vic Mensa, the 16-year old frontman for the dope band Kids These Days & the youngest affiliate of the Brainiac Society, releases his first official project in conjunction with RubyHornet, aptly titled ‘Straight Up‘. One listen to this project and you’ll see that Mensa lyrically devours each track and leaves no doubt that he holds his own amongst equally stellar production from the likes of NEZ&RIO, M-Stacks, Double-O, and more. Check out the NEZ&RIO produced “Lights Out” and then join the wave. It would be in your best interest not to sleep on the kid. Indulge!

The homies Naledge and Double O, aka Kidz In The Hall combined with the good folks over at LRG to bring the masses their Professional Leisure Tour Mixtape, containing 13 original tracks they recorded whilst on tour.
