CONGRATS TO DJ TIMBUCK2! VH1 HONORS’ BEST HIP HOP DJ!

On behalf of the Blind I crew, I’d like to congratulate DJ Timbuck2 on winning the VH1 Hip Hop Honors Best Hip Hop DJ award. Anyone in or around Chicago knows that Tim is pretty much the #1 DJ in the land, and I can vouch for him being a master of his craft and a stand up guy. If you’re in Chicago tonight check out his free celebration at The Shrine with Izzo & Million $ Mano (who’s up for the Grey Goose Rising Icon Award) spinning. GO!

Every time I think about this night I pat myself on the back for selling my tickets. Don’t get me wrong, I think Drake is an amazing artist and talented dude, Comeback Season is still in rotation on my iPod and So Far Gone is just as good, but I knew it was gonna be some debauchlery going on that night. Thankfully Timbuck2 captured the essence of the concert and spared us all the threat of getting shot in the ass just to see Drake live, hahaha!
