FREESTYLE FELLOWSHIP PERFORMING “INNERCITY GRIOTS” TONIGHT [SF]

I’ve told you all countless times how important Freestyle Fellowship is to the development of our hip hop culture & tonight you have a chance to see why. Innercity Griots was the groups 2nd album released on 4th & B’way back in 1993. Their catalog as a whole & individuals runs deeper than Atlantis, but it was THIS album that changed it all & they will be performing this album in it’s entirety followed by their other classic material. I grew up on this album & it changed my life as a aficionado, student & aspiring rapper. I think I turned out okay . It all goes down tonight @ the historic 330 Ritch in beautiful San Francisco! J DILLA | DJ PLATURN

Oakland Faders own DJ Platurn made an edit of his favorite track off the J Dillas NEW album entitled Jay Stays Paid. The song is called “On Stilts” and he made it longer with a small edit in the middle and made a clean drum beat off the intro drums for mixing in and out of the track for all you DJ’s out there. He decided to bless us as the one and only place you can get it so props & respecognition for that.
