VIDEO: DAVE CORESH – KEEP IT MOVIN’

Dave Coresh‘s got a nice lineup coming for 2010, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. The visuals for his single “Keep It Movin’“, directed by Roper, are super fresh and I love the cypher sequence at the end. All around dope video to match a dope song. Dave’s coming….indulge!

CHICAGO | WALE & COLIN MUNROE LIVE 4.22.09

waleflyerWale’s ‘Attention Deficit’ Tour w/ UCB, Colin Munroe
Featuring
: Mic Terror, Bin Laden Blowin’ Up, Dave Coresh, Vic Lloyd, Chaise Marcel, 1993

Wednesday April 22nd, 2009 @ Abbey Pub  3240 W. Grace, Chicago, IL

17+, $12 presale (www.abbeypub.com), $15 door

In an era when critics and rappers themselves jump to declare the death of Hip-Hop, Wale Folarin has been breathing new life into the genre through dazzling wordplay, a fresh sound steeped in DC?s legendary go-go scene, and boundless on-stage energy. 2006 saw Wale conquer DC, Maryland and Virginia with a slew of original radio hits and electrifying shows that solidified his buzz in the Mid-Atlantic. 2008 was even brighter, with Wale garnering press in The Fader, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, XXL, VIBE, Complex, Entertainment Weekly, The Washington Post, The Source, HipHopGame.com, AllHipHop.com, a piece on MTV and an URB cover, all without a major label deal. With heavy radio rotation in DC, Maryland and Virginia, along with mixshow spins on both coasts, Wale has sold out shows in LA, New York, San Francisco, Philly and Atlanta. Wale has also taken the European music festival circuit by storm, touring with world-famous DJ and superproducer Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen). Ronson was so impressed with Wale, he ended up signing Wale to a production deal with his boutique label, Allido Records. With well over 2 million plays on MySpace, Wale is an organic Hip-Hop and lifestyle phenomenon, and the release of his third and most widely-distributed mixtape, 100 MILES AND RUNNING (30,000+ downloads since July), has taken his global buzz to new heights. *BONUS – Video footage of Wale & Bun B in ATL after the jump!

DAVE CORESH – STOP (FREESTYLE)

Coresh goes in over Rich Boy’s Drop instrumental. There’s been some debate about which is better, Naledge‘s or Dave’s….my vote is for Dave at the moment. Check it out for yourselves….

YAY OR NAY: DAVE CORESH – BOY WONDER VOL. 2 “BARS AND BEATS”

The homie Roosevelt Treasurechest sent this over to me today, and I’ve been on the fence about Dave Coresh for awhile now. He’s a young cat from Chicago who’s been doing his thing in terms of projects and performances, and as you know Blind I is for the Kids, so I had to give him a shot on the site. This is his 2nd installement of the Boy Wonder mixtape series, and I wanted to get the opinion of the Blind I family with this jawn. One thing that is refreshing about this young cat is, he’s not rhyming over other people’s beats! I’m gonna drop a standout stream for you guys to peep, and you can vote Hot Or Not after the jump, plus peep the tracklisting & download the entire mixtape for the free.
