BLIND I SAYS GO! MARCH 2010

It’s March already! Truthfully I couldn’t be happier…the outlook on this year is bright, there’s a ton of work being done so the results are sure to be beautiful, and the phrase Blind I Says GO! has never meant so much as it does right now. You wake up one day, decide to start dreaming and just start DOING. I used to sit back with my philosophical thoughts and say like Kanye did in the chorus to Common’s “The Corner” – I wish I could GIVE you this feeling…but alas this platform that we’ve created of outstanding musical compilations has given me a medium by which I can hopefully inspire our listeners to get up and GO! because thinking is overrated! Ha! With all that being said, I’ve compiled what I’ll honestly say is my favorite – if not Top 5 – Blind I Says GO! compilations, and trust, I now have 42 in total to choose from! Everything flows, everything’s masterful, everything should give you the steam you need to power your engine. So F*CK a groundhog, we’re starting Springtime right now. Ready….set….GO!

British singer Corinne Bailey Rae’s husband found dead

LONDON(AP) – The husband of Grammy-nominated British singer Corinne Bailey Rae has been found dead. Police say Jason Rae was found in an apartment in the northern English city of Leeds on Saturday. Officers are awaiting results of toxicology tests to determine the cause of death.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying him with drugs but has been released on bail, officials said.

Jason Rae, 31, was a saxophonist with a funk band, the Haggis Horns.

Bailey Rae’s self-titled debut album sold more than 1 million copies in the U.S. after its release in 2006.

The 29-year-old was nominated for song of the year at the Grammy Awards in both 2007 and 2008.
