THE STUYVESANTS FINER THINGS LP

The Stuyvesants have impeccable timing.   They just released this double LP, Finer Things two days before our CMJ Show. We’re glad to have them on the lineup and now that this new material is blowing us away sonically, we are even more amped for their beat set.  It’s been a few months since they put out Brooklyn’s Finest last year. When we posted it on the siteit got great feedback by Blind I faithful and the music community as a whole. It’s rare that a slew of instrumentals is so satisfying! Their samples are soulful and they are always repping Brooklyn  to the fullest. Get familiar with their music and hit the skip for the tracklists and downloads! And we better see you Wednesday if you’re in NYC!

BLIND I PRESENTS ONYX 2.0 AT CMJ • WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19TH

YES, YES, YES, we’re at it again this year for CMJ with the 2nd annual ONYX showcase featuring some of Blind I’s favorite acts! The lineup is crazy, as we’ve got dope ass performances lined up from The Stuyvesants, yours truly (Sulaiman), Tennille, L.E. for the Uncool, Raj Mahal, Carlitta Durand, and TiRon & Ayomari! A very soulful, dope-filled roster of talent to make the night of Wednesday, October 19th at Southpaw in Brooklyn a night to remember! BILAL LIVE PERFORMANCE- “LEVELS”

I had the pleasure of catching this performance during CMJ week in NYC. Bilal was one of the most anticipated artists to hit the stage that night and as usual he tore it down. “Levels” is from his forthcoming album via Plug Research. I love the way it begins.
