DANDIGGITY PRESENTS: ECLECTICUTS VOL.27

Front, back, side to side 2010 has been quite the ride (rhyme). The first year of the new decade wasn’t the smoothest, but I think it was great for new beginnings. With music advancing (and sometimes echoing back to the past) at a rapid pace it’s good to remind ourselves that even with the abundance of tunes out there always concentrate on the timeless and memorable. Thanks for sticking with me these last few years, and hopefully in the future to come. Props always to my boy Noah for the covers and of course Mark Sebastian for the use of his photos for my 2010 comps. Now get to downloading, vibing out, and lets get it in 2011! DJ EKO – ELECTRO YUM TURBO!

Blind I faithful & good friend DJ EKO or “ekogirl” has blessed us all with a new mix perfect for the weather that is warming up too damn soon (is it just me or does it feel like summer is already here?)! For those unaware, DJ Eko is a staple in our culture. She has had a successful show on KZSC Santa Cruz for over 12 years (in that time, became the stations Hip Hop Director), wrote reviews for Urb Magazine, worked with record label, Nu Gruv Alliance (working with Peanut Butter Wolf, StonesThrow, Quannum, Aceyalone, Abstract Rude, J5 & Zion I) & even had a show on KCSB while she was transplanted in L.A. for a quick minute. Today you can still tune in to KZSC when u are in the bay to peep her wonderful show or catch her rockin the 1′s & 2′s LIVE @ all the various hot spots!

So back to this mix! In her own words, Electro Yum Turbo! is:
