I had the pleasure of running into Real T@lk last week at a Heineken event – shouts to Howard and C. Wade for the hook up – and he hipped me to his movement and his new mixtape where he uses samples and snippets from Spike Lee’s Mo’ Better Blues film, which happens to be one of my favorites! So I went home and got a chance to check out the project and was pretty impressed. Check out “Sleepwalking“, produced by and featuring Chris Mathien, and then partake! MATHIEN – THE DEFINITION
Great new music right here. This joint is from producer/singer/songwriter Chris Mathien, who was also featured on the R.O.E. track “No Gloves” that we posted. This joint is called “The Definition” and it’s really ill! I’m all for defying expectation and stereotypes, and that’s exactly what Mathien tackles on this joint. You know Blind I is always trying to bring you ill new music, so go ahead and put Mathien in that category as he’s 2-for-2 with what we’ve heard so far. Partake!
