We know you guys have been wondering, “What happened to the compilations on Blind I?” for quite some time, right? Well, no worries! We’re restructuring the site a bit and we plan to roll out some exciting new features in the near future. It’s getting chilly out and rather than spending time outside partying, more of us are bundling up with significant others. I equate fall with romance. Always have and always will. BRITTANY BOSCO-PACER EP

Brittany Bosco has impeccable timing. Just a day ago, $ulaiman and I  mentioned the singer and pondered when she’d release a new project. It’s hard to believe it has been two years since Bosco released Spectrum, an EP the Blind I camp bumped for quite some time!  Now, she’s back with a new look (hello, blonde!) and a new sound courtesy of  Dogbite, a  member of  the chillwave band Washed Out.  I happen to be a huge fan of Washed Out so this is a pretty amazing collaboration and  a breath of fresh air for her music.  This concept EP tells the journey of an adventure from Atlanta to California in a 1978 Teal Pacer. Songs like “Kids” and “Beauty & The Stone” conjure up images of a whimsical summer road-trip–hands in the air on the open road. “Yeah-Yay” is my favorite. Bosco fans, what say you? We’d love to hear what you think of Pacer.

PINBOARD PRESENTS FEED YOUR EARS VOL. 1-SOUL EDITION

The London-based blog Pinboard put together their first mix: Feed Your Ears Vol. 1, which features some artists that regularly appear on Blind I. There are seven tracks from Brittany Bosco, Peter Hadar, OliverDaySoul, Fatima and Alex Nut, and Reggie B. Definitely worth listening to and adding to your collection.

Ready For The World: Brittany Bosco

Brittany Bosco is a dynamic artist. Musically, she’s a chameleon that radiates colors, moods and energy with every note. Her vocal range is as tremendous as her production. She’s a grounded, southern belle, cultivating a sound that’s two steps ahead of other singers. Her EPs, City of Nowhere and Spectrum, reached thousands of ears and cooked up an appetite for her official debut, Black.

This winter, Bosco will deliver a gem for audiophiles, full of live instrumentation, invigorating vocals and unique overtures.  The Savannah native recently did a series of shows in New York City that roused the underground scene and got people talking. We have been waiting for Brittany’s defining moment, which is undoubtedly approaching.

Blind I has had Brittany Bosco on our radar for quite some time now. She is an innovative, fresh talent and her music has been making its rounds heavily through blogs and underground scene.
