KNXWLEDGE: WRAPTAYPES.PORT.1

One thing Knx has a knack for aside from crafting amazing beats, is reworking songs from other artists. His sound is distinct, so when you hear these remixes it breathes new life into them and they sound like completely different songs. The past few EPs have been primarily instrumentals, but this project (aptly titled WrapTaypes.Port.1) is a set of hip hop remixes. I pulled out a few of my favorites here. NEW YORK STATE OF MIND

When I was a kid in Cali, my older brother and I listened to a lot of music out of New York. Back then, the East Coast was in the lead and Rap City was in heavy rotation. Even in elementary school, I was buying albums and dissecting them on my pH scale for quality. The hip-hop seed was planted early.
