Blind I faithful & good friend DJ EKO or “ekogirl” has blessed us all with a new mix perfect for the weather that is warming up too damn soon (is it just me or does it feel like summer is already here?)! For those unaware, DJ Eko is a staple in our culture. She has had a successful show on KZSC Santa Cruz for over 12 years (in that time, became the stations Hip Hop Director), wrote reviews for Urb Magazine, worked with record label, Nu Gruv Alliance (working with Peanut Butter Wolf, StonesThrow, Quannum, Aceyalone, Abstract Rude, J5 & Zion I) & even had a show on KCSB while she was transplanted in L.A. for a quick minute. Today you can still tune in to KZSC when u are in the bay to peep her wonderful show or catch her rockin the 1’s & 2’s LIVE @ all the various hot spots!
