Hey, look who’s bizack! I know it’s been a long time since you’ve heard from Blind I’s resident hater player, but alas Sister Toldja has returned. You know you missed me.
Anyway, I got something serious to talk to y’all about and I hope you’re listening. Now, the Hip-Hop community is all abuzz with Obama fever these days. Cats are shouting him out on songs (for better or worse), you see his face plastered on t-shirts all up and down the ave, etc. But did you know that 8 MILLION Black folk in this country aren’t registered to vote? And that had Ohio’s 270,000 unregistred Black voters stepped up to the plate, the state could have been won in the 2004 election? Had the same occurred in Florida as well, we could have avoided the past eight years of misery. And NOW look what we are facing:

Mickey and Mallory 2008
It is my fear that if John McCain and Sarah “You gotta be fucking kidding me” Palin are elected, we will all actually die. This is what I would imagine his first day in the Oval Office would look like…more info after the jump.
5:15-Arise
5:45-Morning cardio
5:47- Morning cardiopulmonary resuscitation
6:30- Breakfast (Baby heart and egg whites, decaf w/two Splendas, splash of skim).
7:00-Bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki for old-times sake
8:00-Worship and prayer time with the spirits of Hitler and Hussein
10:00- Meeting about educational disparities in the urban school system
10:02- Nap
12:00- Lunch (Blood of the lamb, hummus, pita, prunes)
12:30- Bombing of Atlanta, GA (known around the office as “Niggeronia”)
1:00- Press conference about terrorist attack on Nig….Atlanta
1:15- Follow-up on status of poisoning Earth’s water supply to bring the Second Coming
2:00- Afternoon cardio pulmonary resuscitation
3:00- Apocalypse
Even if I am a bit extreme in my predictions, you can’t tell me that what McCain has in store would be much better. If the octogenarian McCain can survive even a few moments in office (dude is one M. Night Shyamalan film away from death, k?), we are pretty much doomed. I picture mass suicides as the economy continues to tank and people go on unable to provide health care and housing for their families, a return to the abortion clinic bombing days as McCain works to overturn Roe V, Wade and perhaps even a race war. Not to mention McCain’s fervor to bomb and destroy Iran and continue the War On Iraqi Freedom for the rest of our lives.
And Palin? Good Lord. I don’t respect a person who preaches abstinence only education, only to turn up with a knocked up daughter. Her resume is laughable and I’d ignore her all together, if there weren’t so many idiotic Americans (particularly White women) who have actually been CHARMED by this douchebitch, just because she’s got some kids and some nice spectacles.
Listen up: if young people and Blacks do not go to the polls, idiotic Americans who feel McCain and Palin are “relatable” (because one is old and the other has a vagina) will be the ones to decide our fate. If you do not fully grasp the POWER of stupidity, please recall that George W. Bush won over people in 2000 because voters thought he was someone they could “have a beer with”. Eight years later, that “boring” Al Gore guy has become the charismatic winner of an Oscar, a Grammy and a Nobel Prize…not to mention helping to save the environment by sparking this “green” movement. Imagine what he could have done as President.
Yes, we can. Or else…

You seem to imply there is something wrong if a babykilling abortion mill is burned or bomb. Which do you prefer, a pile of bricks or a pile of dead babies? Innocent unborn babies deserve to be protected just as born children deserve to be protected. You would have no problem protecting born children if they were about to be murdered.
SAY THIS PRAYER: Dear Jesus, I am a sinner and am headed to eternal hell because of my sins. I believe you died on the cross to take away my sins and to take me to heaven. Jesus, I ask you now to come into my heart and take away my sins and give me eternal life.

I agree with the principle of this post, HOWEVA, I do believe that a person shouldn’t register in order to keep one party out of office. Black people should be registering and voting in order to get our voice heard.
If you think about the past elections that you can remember, think about what issues are always mentioned. I can recall Social Security, the economy and the war. The reason that these issues constantly get broached is because there is a demographic that always speaks their mind. Old people always vote, which is why SS is always an issue that is talked about. Rich people always want to get richer so they vote for a person that promises a better economy. And people that are in the military or have family in the military always vote for someone that promises less deployments.
If enough black people registered and let it be known that they care about their public schools becoming better it would be an issue that would be considered in national debates and local offices.
The power of the vote is not in electing a president. It’s in letting your voice and your demographic be heard.

good lick Toldja. glad i followed
i worked the polls for our primary yesterday and was a lil disheatened at some of the turnout and some of the reasons for a lack therein….but nowhere near as disheartened as i am at this reader of yours suggesting that dead women and doctors are inconsequential in that pile of bricks that was blown up… i LOVE prolifers who will support killing others to protect embryos cuz thats what the good rev falwell wants you to do and then backs it up on jesus’ word. good shit right there. i got a a prayer too.
hey jesus. i’m acting like an ass and sitting in judgment of others and taking vengence in my hands and trying my level best to subvert your fathers gift of free will by forcing my will on those around me. think maybe you can hook me up with a clue jesus? thanks in advance for saving me from a hell i’m blind to see coming.

ST! Atta girl. You know I’ve been begging you to post LOL. You’ve been missed!
Now onto the heart of the matter. The scariest thing about this duo to me is their stance on gun control. I love how they’re so eager to protect unborn children, which I can understand, but damn what about people out here in these streets? They might only be shooting deer in the middle of fucking nowhere but the rest of us in major cities are going to have to deal with a surge in shootings and crime. And did Palin really say only “bad guys” have guns to Charlie Gibson? Are we in kindergarten?
I had a chat with a real old-school head about this election and he has a rather radical theory that made me think. Since white people are going to eventually become a minority here due to race mixing, they want to ban abortions, which statistically white people can afford to boost the white population. Hmmmm…
Chew on it people. Men and women. If you or your girl gets raped she’s forced to have the baby? Incest? WTF? There is just going to be a slew of shoddy abortion centers like back in the day. I pray for this country and I am going to leave NY and travel to the swing state where I am registered for the day just to vote there instead of NY.
If it doesn’t work, I’ll be blogging for Blind I via Toronto in the near future…

DS- ROTLFMAO. You, my friend, are crazy. I don’t have a problem with people being “pro-life” for religious reasons (though I don’t think it’s anyone else’s buisness what a woman choses to do with her body).
Say this prayer: Dear God, please forgive me for being a religious zealot who thinks it’s okay to kill people (which could include passerby or children waiting in the lobby) becuase they disagree with me.
Landis- I agree with you, but right now we are in a dire situation and we need people to go vote for OBAMA, IMO. We can discuss the specifics later.

“We can discuss the specifics later” is a historical formula for being assed out “later”.
I will vote for Obama, but also maintain that specifics need to be discussed NOW (walking and chewing gum is not that hard folks). And you (and all of us) have a responsibility to be specific instead of general in our encouragement for our people to vote.
Not saying the post wasn’t good, but just saying we need more from you (and all of us). If I were to just brown-nose and prise this post, I’d be failing you and me.
