   And hipster rap DOES exists because hipsters themselves DO exist. Saying otherwise would be denying the fact that a perticular sub-sect of a culture loosely linked to another culture (i.e. gangstas to gangsta rap) is establishing its own identity… and no one here would lump up gangsta rap with good ol’ fashioned hiphop.

   I don’t look at some nigga in highlighter colors, tight jeans, funky shades… who’s too young to even remember the days where that shit WAS in… and consider him my equal while I’m donning loose fitting jeans, timbs, a hoodie and a ball cap.

   Man speaks the truth – BUT – “Mine” / “Theirs” / “Yours” / “Ours” – what cr*p – the only way you own it is if you make it… no one “owns” s*** and when people start thinking and saying they do because they wear a different fit of jean or your top happens to be yellow… that’s when problems start. I love Biggie but I ain’t ever wearing some of that Versace s*** he used to wear… Most people hate it because they feel their little “gang” or “club” they “own” away from the masses is being invaded by newcomers and outsiders – and if you think about it long enough that’s the reason you hate “hipsters”. You do not OWN anything!
