I remember the Polo store on Michigan Ave. embracing this technology last fall and allowing people to order on an interactive display set up on the window outside the store (which didn’t make any sense because naturally you’d have to pay with a credit card, and who’s breaking out 16 digits with thousands of people passing behind you?). Either way, the technology is dope and I’m sure we’ll be seeing it a lot more in the next year or so. More information after the jump.

‘we (blink)’ designed by swiss company sigma6 is an interactive system designed
for shop windows. the system reacts by lighting up geometric shapes, when people
walk past the panel. not only will it be displayed in front of you, but it will also be
transmitted to other windows around the world. sigma6 focusses on visual
performances and aims to change the way we look at screens, walls and monuments.
