NEW SCHITT (THE BOARDROOM)

The Boardroom (Myspace) is a Chicago-based Hip Hop group hellbent on flipping the industry on it’s ass. I must say, they come at the game from a distinctly different angle, one that encompasses an embrace of the changing face of the industry. They remind me of a throwback to that gritty, early 90′s New York style shit that had everyone mean mugging people when they walked past em on the street. Add that to a crazy passion and a look that’s right in tune with the cutting edge acts on the current cusp of things, and you got the Boardroom. Hate it or love it, I think Chicago people can vouch and say that you can’t deny the grind these dudes have, which is more admirable than anything else I’m seeing from half assed rap groups nowadays.
