Since January, my Blind I music task has been to come up with themed compilations every month. I’ve pondered heavily which direction to go after Good Morning, Blind I for the Lover In You, Pick A Shore and Foreclosure. I had an idea about pill popping music that was seasoned by NO (what a genius) and the Substance Series was spawned. What would liquor, weed and other hallucinogens be without music? Think of all the drugged out coked out psychedelic tunes that came after an ill session. Or all the sounds that complement that feeling.  Now I’m going to do these with the least amount of self-incrimination possible. I decided to start with XTC. Everyone reacts differently to every substance but X is fueled by sexual top notes and imagery. Warped voices. Slow shit. Electro techno high club songs.
